it’s a millennial’s world.
I am currently living through a renovation. Yes it's a bit odd living in a deconstructed house, with electoral wires sticking out, subfloor exposed, tape on the wall, it's chaos. And on top of that owning a farm in the Midwest and trying to figure out what this business entails, it's a lot. But I'm creating a space that's going to still bring me the daily rituals I value.
From hosting dinner parties, taking a hike when I'm feeling stressed, finding the work-life balance (which I think it's a hoax), thriving for our 90s style, having tough conversations, supporting independent and sustainable designers, having nostalgia of the good old days without internet, adapting to our ever changing economy, being creative, standing up to authority, navigating friendships and dating life as adults, the list goes on.
So as I start to foster a space for all of these things, it's not just for me. It's for our generation to have a platform, to speak up for ourselves, our friends, our family, our businesses, our dreams and aspirations. It's the time to voice your stories, experiences, feelings, your aha moments, and even moments when you're frustrated, sad, confused. Not trying to be biased, but I truly believe that our generation is going to be the one that can make society change for the better. So let's build something worthwhile for ourselves.
Sincerely,
The Millennials' Catalog.
